2 ribbons with the text winner 2022 What's On 4 Kids Awards

Braille House is proud and excited to announce that we have won both categories in the National What’s on 4 Kids Awards.

Peoples Choice Award and Judged Award in the category of Best Volunteer led Activity.

Our Braille Awareness Shows have been recognised for their contribution to diversity and inclusion as well as our amazing volunteers. Shows are presented by experienced volunteers and/or staff, who share rehearsals, scripts and strategies resulting in consistently high-quality shows.

Shows run for 30-40 minutes, introducing students to tactile experiences and enhancing their knowledge and awareness of Braille, blindness and low vision. The shows include elements of learning, storytelling, and craft, all focused on reading inclusion, equality and diversity.
