How would you feel if you went out to a restaurant with your family and friends, and you couldn’t read the menu?
Or you had to prepare for a medical procedure, but you couldn’t read the instructions?
Sadly, that’s the case for many Queenslanders who are blind and vision-impaired, because there’s such a shortage of resources written in Braille.
Nine-year-old Eva lives at the Sunshine Coast. Eva’s vision-impaired and has been reading Braille since she was about five, but she says there aren’t enough resources available.
