2018 Dickinson Memorial Literary Challenge

Entries are now open for the 2018 Dickinson Memorial Literary Competition.

Pen a short story, poem, song lyric, article, blog or opinion and be in the running to win cash prizes in this year’s competition.

The theme is “Imagine” and entries close 31 August 2018.

Braille House is proud to conduct the 2018 Dickinson Memorial Literary Competition which is open to participants who are Australian residents and are legally blind or have low or no vision.

There are 5 categories each carrying cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place.  The categories are:

  1. Adult – Short Story
  2. Adult – Poem or Song Lyrics
  3. Adult – Article, Opinion or Blog
  4. Senior Student Creative – eg, Short Story, Poem, Song Lyrics, Rap Lyrics, Blog, Opinion, Reflection
  5. Junior Student Creative – eg, Short Story, Poem, Song Lyrics, Rap Lyrics, Blog, Opinion, Reflection
